This introspective workshop will examine how our internal “committees” sabotage our performance during interpreting assignments. Attendees will discuss and identify how the “voices” in our heads affect our ability to attend to the interpreting task by allowing fear to interfere with making appropriate decisions. Participants can expect to examine and practice strategies to help them bring control back to the decision-making process and prepare plans to reach a healthy place where they can enjoy their work, while providing their consumers with the highest quality of service.
