For the performance portion, the ten skill domains will be covered. Participants will interpret several scenarios similar to those on the NIC exam and take a complete mock performance exam.

What we will do:

• Go through a PowerPoint describing the logistics of the NIC.

• Discuss in detail what is required for an effective response to the interview portion.

• Practice responding to several hypothetical scenarios in small groups and then in groups of two.

• Discuss in detail what is required to successfully pass the performance portion of the test.

• Practice with several scenarios in groups of two.

• Take a complete mock exam.
